Startup Sales Intern
Our organization is seeking dynamic students to fulfill the role of Startup Sales Intern for 8-week placement opportunities. As a Startup Sales Intern, you will be placed with a growing startup company participating in Planet Hatch’s Sales Accelerator program.

identify, negotiate and close deals. At the end of the program you will receive certification as a
sales professional which is recognized across North America.
In a recent survey of Canadian employers, sales professionals were identified as 2nd of the 10
most in-demand skills. Almost a quarter of employers say the main reason they can’t fill these
roles is due to a lack of qualified applicants. Through this placement, you will be positioning
yourself and getting the necessary experience for growing career opportunities in business.
Planet Hatch is a startup acceleration centre located in Fredericton, NB. We help entrepreneurs
and startups grow into well-positioned, internationally competitive businesses through
programs, funding, mentorship, coaching, facilities and events.
The Planet Hatch Sales Accelerator program is the first sector-agnostic sales acceleration
program in Atlantic Canada. The program helps startups build their sales pipeline, develop skills
to close deals fast, and drive revenue for scalable growth.
Skills & Experience:
Startup Sales Interns should have demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas:
• Customer service experience;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Organized and attentive to details;
• Multitasking and prioritization skills;
• Research experience is an asset;
• Prior sales experience is an asset;
• Bilingualism is an asset
Location: Fredericton, New Brunswick
Start Date: Immediately
Details: Flexible schedule: 15-35 hours / week @ $12.00 per hour, for an 8-week term.
